The Role:
Elusav have a great opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join my clients teams on one of Ireland largest Waste Water treatment facilities, where the organisation are are responsible for the overall up time, sustaining and Capex projects for the site.
As a Project Engineer who will work with Maintenance Manager on mostly capital maintenance projects and SLA/Contractor management related to maintenance activities. This role will involve delivering multiple small,multidisciplinary projects with a combined annual value in excess of €3m. There is also a clear progression path, with the intention for the successful candidate to move into a Project Manager role under the Maintenance Manager in the future.
Permanent position with an expanding site that is using advanced tech to sustainably generate it's own energy; while treating water that is crucial to the ecosystem and population of Dublin. A company that has been crucial to the design, build, operation and maintenance of Ireland's most critical WWTP for the past 20+ years'.
Job Responsibilities:
- production of documentation, including reports, drawings, calculations, specifications, tender documentation including particular specifications.
- production of project budgets and resource loaded detailed work programmes.
- co-ordinating with PSCS, PSDP, Client, Operations and other stakeholders.
- providing technical advice and guidance.
- providing input to bids and project manage appropriate projects.
- supervision & management of contractors.
- responding to Client requests for information.
- Preparation and/or review RAMS.
- Identify interfaces with operations, impacts, consequence, work-around's and plan, execute operations dependent tasks within the suitable window.
- Support maintenance by managing SLAs and contractors.
- Identify and prioritise capital maintenance projects based on equipment/process condition and criticality.
Job Requirements:
- The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams.
- Ability risk assess equipment and criticality.
- have experience of design at all levels from feasibility to a "for construction" level.
- PRINCE2 or PMP qualification or experience in a PRINCE2/PMP structured projects is preferred.
