The Role:
Elusav Recruitment have an amazing opportunity for an Electrical Construction Manager to join one of the most reputable and largest Engineering contractors in Zurich.
As the Electrical Construction Manager you will be responsible for the management of Site Safety in conjunction with the project team and the Safety Advisor. This will include the set-up, management of and closing out of the safety file.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day site operations including planning, coordinating, and reporting of all electrical construction activities.
- Overseeing an entire electrical scope to ensure project deadlines and requirements are met
- Management of the design process between Design Consultants and Building Contractors
- Provide technical expertise to solve technical and logistical issues.
- Track all project costs, including labour, materials, plant and equipment, variations, and valuations.
- Management of Electrical Engineers, supervisors and sub-contractors
- Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Ensure project profitability
- Assist with Commissioning of the projects.
Job Requirements:
- Good strong knowledge of the full design and construction process.
- Ability to control and manage people and programs.
- A trade background or a relevant third level qualification.
- Proven record of co-ordination and managing large and/or intricate projects.
- A minimum of 5 years as an Electrical Construction Manager.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
- Ability to drive construction progress.
- A construction backgrounds.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
- Computer skills - Windows, MS Office and CDE software.
