Senior Security & Fire Engineer (Maintennace)

Elusav Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for a Security and Fire System Engineer to join our clients' Maintenance Department in Dublin. Company is a well-known, 100% Irish owned and operated Fire and Security Systems organisation, working with a broad range of Industrial and Commercial sector clients on conventional and high-end systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair of electronic fire and security systems at commercial and industrial sites (Predominantly in Dublin, but also broader Leinster region as needed). This is a hands-on field role with a focus on delivering best-in-class service and ensuring continued safety and security for customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on:
- Intruder alarm systems
- Fire detection and alarm systems (conventional and addressable)
- CCTV systems (IP and analogue)
- Access control and intercom systems
- Diagnose faults and complete corrective action in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure compliance with PSA licensing standards and NSAI regulations.
- Complete all service documentation and reporting via company systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients onsite.
- Participate in the on-call rota for emergency breakdown response.
- Communicate with the Service Manager to update job progress and escalate issues.
- Ensure tools, stock and company vehicle are maintained in safe working condition.
- Stay up to date with relevant industry regulations and product update.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in servicing electronic security systems and preferably some fire alarm experience also.
- Familiarity with various systems for CCTV/Security and Fire Detection (HKC, Dahua, Hikvision CCTV, ACT & Paxton Access Control).
- Full, clean driving license.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
