Senior Security & Fire Engineer (Installation)

Elusav Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for a Security and Fire System Engineer to join our clients’ Installation Department in Dublin. Company is a well-known, 100% Irish owned and operated Fire and Security Systems organisation, working with a broad range of Industrial and Commercial sector clients on conventional and high-end systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and configuration of electronic fire and security systems at commercial and industrial sites (Predominantly in Dublin, but also broader Leinster region as needed). This is a hands-on field-based role, involving system setup, testing, integration, and handover to ensure all installations meet regulatory standards and client specifications, that ensure safety and security for customer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on:
- Intruder alarm systems
- Fire detection and alarm systems (conventional and addressable)
- CCTV systems (IP and analogue)
- Access control and intercom systems
- Install, configure, and commission fire and security systems in accordance with design specifications, PSA licensing requirements, and NSAI regulations.
- Carry out system testing, verification, and handover to ensure installations meet regulatory and client requirements.
- Complete all installation documentation, commissioning records, and as-built information using company systems.
- Provide onsite technical support and guidance to clients during installation and handover stages.
- Liaise with the Installation Manager to communicate job progress, coordinate site activities, and escalate technical or programme issues.
- Ensure tools, equipment, materials, and company vehicle are maintained in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Work in line with project schedules, site safety requirements, and method statements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry standards, installation practices, and product developments.
- Ensure tools, stock and company vehicle are maintained in safe working condition.
- Stay up to date with relevant industry regulations and product update.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in servicing electronic security systems and preferably some fire alarm experience also.
- Familiarity with various systems for CCTV/Security and Fire Detection (HKC, Dahua, Hikvision CCTV, ACT & Paxton Access Control).
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
