Elusav Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Procurement Manager to join one of Europe's most well respected Engineering contractors, based in Dublin.Reporting to the Group Head of Data Centre Procurement, the Senior Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of a best-in-class procurement function within company.
The position focuses on driving standardisation & consistency, enhancing supplier relationship management, and ensuring procurement activities meet the highest standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers that meet quality, compliance, and cost objectives.
- Lead and manage procurement teams across multiple EU countries.
- Monitor procurement processes to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, conduct regular business reviews, and ensure contractual compliance.
- Secure favourable terms, pricing agreements, and rebates through strategic negotiations and volume leverage.
- Monitor economic and geopolitical trends impacting construction materials; proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
- Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulations, including GMP.
- Provide actionable insights to the Group Head of DC Procurement for informed decision-making.
- Drive sourcing strategies, process improvements, renegotiation plans, and dispute resolution initiatives.
- Lead quarterly reviews with strategic suppliers and maintain comprehensive supplier profiles.
- Implement MSA agreements and incentive strategies across the supply chain.
- Champion sustainability initiatives within the division.
- Oversee continuous improvement of ERP-based procurement and material management systems.
- Provide strategic direction and mentorship to procurement teams.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manage.
Job Requirements:
- Proven background in strategic procurement within the construction industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging internal stakeholders and setting standards.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role.
- Expertise in Category Management.
- Highly organized, process-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
- Willingness to travel as required.
